Barcelona and Inter Milan agree terms as Alba digs in heels

Barcelona fullback Jordi Alba has rejected a move to Inter Milan.

Marca says the two clubs have reached a concrete agreement, but never got the consent of the player himself. Alba has yet to put pen to paper and is not going to.

It has been confirmed that the player is not keen on the move, and is happy at Barcelona.

He also wants to avoid any possibility of jeopardizing his chances of being called up to Luis Enrique's World Cup squad. He sees Barcelona as his best option in that regard.

Alba's future has been under review at Barcelona after a significant drop in form and issues regarding a pay cut. The Spaniard has played over 400 games for the club since signing in 2012, winning five Copas del Rey, five League titles and one Champions League.
