Barcelona ace Lionel Messi insists he's had little contact with Pep Guardiola recently.

Guardiola returns to Barca tonight for their Champions League tie against Bayern Munich.

Messi said: "He knows all of us well, he was with us for a long time. We experienced a lot of key moments together and won a lot of trophies - he knows most of the players and not just me. He even knows about the ones who weren't around when he was here. He studies everything and leaves nothing to chance.

"Since Pep left, we haven't really seen each other - apart from an event for FIFA but apart from that we haven't kept the relationship going. We had a good relationship but we're not in contact."
