AC Milan chief Barbara Berlusconi says the board are excited by the potential of new coach Pippo Inzaghi.

Inzaghi was named new coach last week.

"We have met with Mr. Inzaghi to play for next season," Barbara told Milan Channel.

"We are working well and he is very enthusiastic. We want to return to the Champions League next season."
