England World Cup winner Gordon Banks says they need Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart at the top of his game.
Hart was dropped at City last season before fighting back to help his club win the Premier League title.
"I was pleased he got his position back," Banks tells The Sentinel, "because it would have been a shock had the England manager played him if he hadn't been playing regular Premier League football.
"You have to be doing that to keep your form, so to have shoved him in at the last minute without much game time wouldn't have helped.
"It was vital he started playing club football again because for me he's the best England goalkeeper we have."
