Gareth Bale plans to slap in a transfer demand if Tottenham sell Luka Modric this summer.
The Sunday Mirror says despite widespread interest at home and abroad, Bale committed himself to Spurs by signing a new deal last season.
But Bale's attitude will be challenged if the club fail to stand by their statement, following Chelsea's recent £22million bid, that Modric will not be sold at any price.
After Spurs failed to secure Champions League qualification there was speculation that Bale would go. The 21-year-old PFA Player of the Year insisted he was happy to stay if the other star men were retained and the squad strengthened.
