Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has ben backed to continue adding to his impressive goalscoring record for the club.
The Belgian kicked off his scoring form for the new Premier League season with a hat-trick in the Toffees' 3-0 win over Sunderlandat the Stadium of Light on Monday night, suggesting to teammate Leighton Baines that there will plenty more to come now he has opened the floodgates.
Baines told Sky Sports: "I'm delighted for Rom and for us because we know he's got goals in him and his goalscoring record is phenomenal.
"We all know the goals are going to come, he's been a prolific goalscorer throughout his career and he's shown it tonight."
Lukaku has now scored 46 Premier League goals in 107 outings for the Toffees for an overall record of 64 in 131 matches for the Goodison Park outfit.
