Aston Villa supporters are now taking their anger out on the player's families.

In the wake of the weekend's 1-1 FA Cup third-round draw with Wycombe Wanderers, reports emerged of unrest between the Villa fans and members of the playing group.

Joleon Lescott and Brad Guzan exchanged heated words with visiting fans at Adams Park on Saturday which required captain Micah Richards to attempt and ease the strain.

Now in further reports, it has been claimed that defender Leandro Bacuna's daughter has been subjected to abuse from supporters of the Midlands club as the situation continues to escalate.

A source told the Daily Mirror: "The players have really been getting some horrific abuse.

"It is out of order. The worst stuff was about Bacuna's baby daughter – it is disgraceful.

"How is that going to motivate players to help the club, or attract new players to join?"
