Aron Johannsson was happy with his performance in his return to Aarhus on Wednesday night.
?The AZ Alkmaar was on the scoresheet as his USA were beaten 3-2 in an international friendly by Denmark.
?It was Johannsson's first appearance at NRGi Park since he left AGF Aarhus for AZ in 2013 and despite the loss, he was delighted to net the US' go-ahead goal on 66 minutes.
?"It was amazing. It was a great experience to come back to the stadium where my career kicked off. It was good to be back, but on the other hand we lost the game, so I'm pretty disappointed right now," he said.
?"I felt like we could've gotten something from the game so this is pretty disappointing.
?"Obviously it's great for me that they still know my name back here and they still cheer for me. It's a great city and I'm very happy to be back, but on the other hand, the result kind of killed it."
