Axel Tuanzebe insists Manchester United will improve once the club's injured players return.

Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial were just two senior players who missed Sunday's 1-0 loss to Newcastle United.

They now have the international break to recover and Tuanzebe thinks their return will lift United.

"Obviously, we're waiting for players to come back [from injury] and that will be a positive to strengthen the squad again," said the 21-year-old.

"[It] gives us time to reflect and build on our game because again we're having a lot of possession but we need to have that final kind of penetration in the final third [to] give us chances to win games."
