Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas feels they proved their competitiveness in defeat at Manchester City.
Just like against Chelsea last month when they lost 4-2, Spurs slumped to defeat after taking the lead.
But AVB said: "It means we can compete with them but, like I said against Chelsea, it's individual brilliance which makes the difference. To have a player so strong like Dzeko, to come on when his team needs him deserves great credit and surprises me.
"It was like that in the game against Chelsea, Mata and Oscar were extremely good."
