Inter Milan chief Piero Ausilio retains hope of keeping Samir Handanovic.

The goalkeeper is yet to commit to new terms at Inter.

Ausilio said: "The talks never stopped with him and his agent. There's only a year left on the contract, but we want to keep him. Handanovic can be part of our project whether we qualify for Europe or not.

"It's only natural he'd want some time to reflect if he receives an offer from a side in the Champions League."
