Inter Milan chief Piero Ausilio has defended their move for Manchester United veterans Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra. Both players are Bosman targets for Inter.

"We want to create the right mix of all the components, if there are occasions when a free transfer can be taken, we should make it happen as well as finding the opportunity to take some young players," argued Ausilio.
