Attacking threat of Chelsea delights Mourinho

Jose Mourinho was over the moon with the way his Chelsea side attacked West Ham United on Boxing Day.

The Blues were a constant threat at Stamford Bridge in their 2-0 win which came courtesy of goals either side of the break from John Terry and Diego Costa.

Mourinho played Costa up front with support from Willian, Eden Hazard, Oscar and Cesc Fabregas and was absolutely thrilled with how the attack combined against a Hammers side who worked hard in defence.

"We are playing Fabregas football, Hazard football, Willian football, Oscar football, and Diego is adapting to that too," he told Sky Sports.

"At Atletico (Madrid), he was a different kind of striker but he is adapting well to the touch football we are playing when we have possession."

Mourinho was also enjoying the fact his Blues side were working well together as a team to defend strongly.

"Everybody is working defensively, the team is stable," he added.

"(Nemanja) Matic gives us very good security and the bench is good. When I play players from the bench, they give me what we need at the time, like (Jon Obi) Mikel today when we wanted a bit more stability.

"I am really happy. We are doing very well, one more match until the end of the year and that's good to finish first."
