Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata says he enjoys playing for coach Diego Simeone.

Morata admits he's happy hearing Atletico are set to hand Simeone a new deal.

He said, "It is not a decision that I have to make, but I am happy because he deserves it, because no one represents Atleti more than him and I think he is the perfect coach for Atlético de Madrid."

As for his own future, Morata also stated: "That's impossible to say because we never know what happens in the future. This summer I was in eight different teams and I'm still here.

"I'm very happy and I've said it many times, ee can have a great season, I hope so and we have a lot of confidence."
