Alvaro Morata is delighted with his current form with Atletico Madrid.
The striker admits he had offers to leave Atletico over the summer.
Morata told Cadena SER: "I had a much-needed conversation with (Diego) Simeone, Gustavo López, Andrea Berta and Miguel Ángel Gil. I needed to feel important in the club and play more than I had played last year. I don't think I have ever played as much as at this start of the season.
"I was about to leave because I needed to feel important and this year I feel more important. I spoke with Simeone and Gustavo López and they told me they wanted me to stay. I told them many things, it was a good moment.
"In addition to what Simeone told me, it was important how my teammates made me feel this year. The Atlético people know me a little now, I can score more or less goals, but I'm dying to win a title with this team and this is more important than money, than playing in other places.
"I had several options and I don't understand if all the managers who love me are crazy. I would like to see which child would not want to play in the teams I played for, or in the national team. It makes me laugh, every summer I have different options, but my first option was to stay at Atlético. I also had a proposal from Arabia."
