Diego Costa is prepared to make a return to the Premier League with Everton.

The Toffees are looking to make a splash in the transfer market and have identified Atletico Madrid striker Costa as their ideal signing.

The 30-year-old dominated the competition in his three years with Chelsea, before returning to Atleti in 2017.

Most people scoffed when reports emerged earlier this week detailing Everton's interest in the Spain international.

However, The Sun says the admiration is mutual and Costa has aired a desire to return to England.

Atleti have already signed Alvaro Morata and Joao Felix this summer, which means they could be prepared to take a hit on the £57m they paid Chelsea for Costa.
