Chelsea are believed to be showing some interest in Diego Godin.

The Daily Mirror reports that the Blues have the 29-year old Atletico Madrid defender in their sights as they continue their search for a new centre-back.

Uruguay international Godin's name has been linked with Jose Mourinho's side but the west Londoners would have to meet his release clause of £28.5million in order to land the former Villarreal man.
