Atletico Madrid sports chief Andrea Berta is scouring the market for a replacement for Diego Costa.

While he maintains the full support of coach Diego Simeone, Costa's meltdown and dismissal in defeat at Barcelona has angered many inside Atletico.

And AS says there is now internal discussions being held about the striker's future as Berta considers potential replacements.

For his part, Costa wants to stay and with a contract to 2021 is prepared to dig in his feels should matters escalate.

Atletico, however, will listen to offers for the Spain international this summer, knowing interest from China could be their best bet at making a decent profit from his sale.
