Atletico Madrid are moving to upgrade Antoine Griezmann's new contract.

The France winger is in his first season with Atletico and enjoying an outstanding campaign.

Cadena SER says the club want to raise the French forward's buyout clause to €70m in case any of his many suitors (among them Bayern Munich) decide to bid for him this summer.

This measure will oblige Atlético to increase the striker's salary and put him on the same level as some of the squad's best-paid players.
