Atletico Madrid are making a serious play to re-sign Filipe Luis from Chelsea.

The Brazil left-back left Atleti last summer for Chelsea, but has failed to nail down a regular start in manager Jose Mourinho's first team.

Marca says Atletico are shopping for a new left-back this summer and have Luis top of their shortlist.

Luis insisted only last week: "When I arrived here in Chelsea, I signed a three-year contract, which I want to fulfil.

"The team is in a great period, the team was champion in the League Cup, has the possibility of being champion of the Premier League, which is the most important to me.

"I do not think about the speculation, nothing of it. My head is completely focused on Chelsea for the season finale."
