Atletico Madrid fans did all they could to convince Chelsea striker Fernando Torres about returning to the Vicente Calderon last night.
Torres scored for Chelsea in their Champions League defeat to Atletico.
With Jose Mourinho keen to sign Diego Costa this summer and Atletico coach Diego Simeone having talked glowingly about Torres prior to last week's first leg at the Vicente Calderon, a solution is clear.
A swap deal, with a sizeable chunk of cash also heading to Madrid, would give Mourinho his top target and allow Torres to wind down his career at his boyhood club.
He was given a standing ovation by Atleti's 3,000 travelling supporters on Tuesday, an obvious sign that they still hold 'El Nino' close to their hearts.
