Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone says strikers Antoine Griezmann and Luis Suarez retain his confidence.

The pair have struggled for form and goals in recent games.

Simeone said, “Antoine hasn't scored goals in the last few games, his performance has gone beyond that forcefulness to which we've become accustomed, because he's one of the players with the most goals in Atlético's history.

"He always works, always seeks to have a commitment to the collective work of the team, I have no doubts that he will come out of this situation.

“He's Griezmann, one of the best in the world, what he needs is to get back to scoring, which will give him confidence. From that, we will find Griezmann we are used to."

On Suarez, he added, “What I have no doubt about is that Luis will always score goals, with his friends, when he plays, in the Uruguayan team... because he is a natural. Hopefully if he comes in from the start or in the game, he will score them. It's what he wants, what he feels, and what he lives for."
