Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone has assured fans of his commitment.

Simeone has cast doubt on his future in recent weeks as Atletico have stumbled.

But ahead of facing Levante, the Argentine said: "We've known each other for a long time. I will always have a great affection for the people of Atlético, since I arrived as a player, without having done anything, they always loved me and respected me.

"Not to mention now as a coach. They are ten wonderful years.

"Only by going game by game can it lead us to the objectives of the beginning of the season."
