Atletico Madrid chief Miguel Angel Gil Marin insists they do not need to buy in January.

Despite their problems this season - and the sacking of Abel Resino - Gil Marin maintains Quique Flores' squad is strong enough.

"The problem was that in summer we had promised not to sell five players: Aguero, Forlan, Simao, Paulo Assuncao and Ujfalusi. Will we shop in the market next January? I think so, but only if necessary," insisted Gil Marin.
