Atletico Madrid are shopping in Europe for young defensive signings.

El Mundo Deportivo says Atletico are in the market for a replacement for Joao Miranda, who is being linked with Manchester United this summer.

Olympique Lyon defender Samuel Umtiti, 21, is top of their shopping list.

Also under consideration is Anderlecht stopper Chancel Mbemba, 20, who has established himself as a first-choice this season.

Anderlecht rate Mbemba in the €7 million class.
