Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez believes Diego Costa would be "well received" if he arrived for his second stint at the club.

The Chelsea forward has been linked with a move back to Madrid after he left for the Blues in 2014.

Speaking to AS, Niguez said of the potential deal: "If he can be signed, if he comes, Diego Costa would be well received,"

"He knows the place, we know him, and he would not take long to fit into the play of Atletico Madrid.

"Fernando Torres, Gabi, Koke show the values of Atletico Madrid, a family club, humble, hard-working."
