Atlanta's MLS franchise owner Arthur Blank is set to unveil the club's name this summer.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that the co-owner of The Home Depot, who owns NFL side Atlanta Falcons, is set to reveal the name of the incoming MLS outfit in July.

The report read: 'An MLS Atlanta spokeswoman said that owner Arthur Blank hopes to unveil the team name sometime before the Gold Cup semi-finals are played at the Georgia Dome in late July.'

The 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup takes place in the USA and Canada from July 7 to 26 this year with the semi-finals to be held at Atlanta's Georgia Dome on July 22.

The Atlanta franchise will begin MLS play in 2017.
