Athletic Bilbao striker Oihan Sancet is happy with his stunning new contract.

Athletic secured the youngster to a nine-year deal earlier this year.

He told AS: "It is a strong bet that the club made for me, both sportingly and contractually and I am very happy to sign so many years.

"There are many people who have told me that they see me in the Premier League and why I didn't leave Athletic, but I focus on the decision I've made now. What has to come in the future will be seen."

Sancent also urged Nico Williams to renew his deal.

He added, "He knows me very well. For me it would be a pleasure and a pride to continue playing with him for several years. He helps the team a lot and I love having him around on the pitch."
