Athletic Bilbao are battling Arsenal for exciting Real Zaragoza talent Ander Herrera.

Herrera is aware of interest from Arsenal, where Gunners boss Arsene Wenger regards the teenager as a 'new Cesc Fabregas'.

However, Bilbao coach Joaquin Caparros is also keen and wants to bring Herrera back to his hometown.

For their part, Real Zaragoza have told all comers that negotiations must begin at €12 million.
