Atalanta striker Gianluca Scamacca was delighted scoring in their 4-1 Coppa Italia semfinal win against Fiorentina.

The result saw Atalanta reach the final 4-2 on aggregate. Nikola Milenkovic saw red for the Viola.

“It was a wonderful game from us, because when situations get tough, we rarely manage to find the late goal, but tonight we believed and pushed to the end," Scamacca told <>Sport Mediaset.

“I am happy to have helped the team, they put me in the best position to score these goals. Playing with this Atalanta side is fantastic.

“There are no favourites in the Final, it's a one-off match, we'll give it our all."

He added: “We have to keep taking it one game at a time. We must enjoy this moment, as when you start a season, you dream of still being in the fight for all your objectives in May."
