Atalanta are preparing a loan bid for Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic.

TMW says Liverpool are open to the idea of loaning '£13 million-rated' midfielder Grujic to Champions League quarter-finalists Atalanta.

Liverpool have been impressed with the work of manager Gian Piero Gasperini in Serie A, and would like to capitalise on that.

After turning Mario Pasalic into one of the most promising midfielders in Europe while taking his side to the latter stages of Europe's premier competition, Gasperini has a big reputation.

However, the Liverpool Echo says the Reds would only let him leave on a permanent deal.
