Promoted Atalanta insist they have no concerns after being named in Italy's betting scandal yesterday.
Yesterday 18 clubs and 26 individuals were told they have a case to answer after it's alleged that an illegal betting ring tried to influence the outcome of certain games on the peninsula for financial gain.
Atalanta risk a points penalty or even demotion from Serie A due to the 'indirect responsibility' clause.
Captain Cristiano Doni is one of the biggest names in the scandal and he risks a three-year ban.
"We are absolutely not worried," insisted technical director Pierpaolo Marino.
"This is only the first stage of the process. The 'indirect responsibility' is debatable and President Percassi has chosen a team of top class lawyers to make our case for the defence.
"We would like to transfer this relaxed state of mind to the fans, too."
