Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini insists he doesn't want to lose Duvan Zapata.

The striker is being linked with Everton.

“I am quite annoyed by this thing," said Gasperini.

"(Rasmus) Højlund has done well and somebody thinks about offloading Zapata. It's a bad thing," the Italian tactician said during a post-match press conference after a 5-2 win over Spezia on Thursday.

“The January transfer window is flat. Zapata has done a lot for this team and the other day I hugged him because he was sad."
