Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini was delighted with the spirit shown for victory over Genoa.
Duvan Zapata hit a screamer in injury time for the 2-1 win.
"It was a hard-fought game, we were up against a very impressive Genoa," Gasperini told DAZN.
“However, Atalanta did enough to deserve the victory. Duvan Zapata's goal was, in my view, the fair result.
“The fact we always believed in ourselves and finished strong is a great sign, even if we lacked some sharpness in the final third."
