Atalanta boss Stefano Colantuono insists former midfielder Simone Padoin is good enough for Juventus.

Padoin made his League debut in Saturday's 3-1 win over Catania.

"Padoin is an extremely versatile player who can occupy various roles in midfield," Colantuono told Tutto Juve.

"The decision by Juventus boss Antonio Conte to have him at his disposal was dictated by the player's multi-talented characteristics and the fact that he is a serious person.

"As a player, he is certainly worthy of Juventus so therefore the Bianconeri made a good decision in buying him."
