Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood has previously worked with Chris Ramsey at Tottenham and if provided an opportunity, would love to work with alongside him again.

Ahead of Tuesday night's Premier League meeting between Sherwood's Villa and Ramsey's QPR, the former has expressed his desire to again team up with his former Spurs colleague.

Sherwood said: "Listen, I know I am biased - he has been good for me and I have been good for him. He is up there with the very best coaches I have ever seen.

"If there was ever an opportunity for me to work with him again I would do that. I would have to speak to the club about whether we could find a role for him here."

Sherwood's Villa will face Ramsay's QPR in a crunch relegation encounter at Villa Park which could very well impact either's team future in the Premier League.
