Swansea City remain interested in Aston Villa winger Scott Sinclair according to reports.
The 26-year-old was recently linked with a Liberty Stadium return and it is believed that move could still eventuate.
Despite a bright start which yielded five goals in two games, Sinclair has struggled at Villa Park this season after joining on a permanent deal from Manchester City following a successful loan in the second half of last term.
The former Chelsea youngster rose to prominence with Swansea when scoring 36 goals and providing nine assists in 91 appearances between 2010 and 2012 but has failed to reach those heights since.
The Welsh club believe the familiarity of the club could help get the best out of Sinclair and they will reportedly discuss a potential move for him once new head coach Francesco Guidolin has settled.
