Aston Villa utility El Ghazi ready for Netherlands call

Aston Villa star Anwar El Ghazi says that he is ready for a national team call up.

Ghazi is being considered by Ronald Koeman for the Netherlands squad.

And the winger, who got his first Premier League goal on Friday, thinks that he can step up to the plate.

"At that moment I felt pure joy [after scoring]," he said to VTBL.

"The atmosphere in the stadium, the fans through the madness, that is indescribable. I also looked back on that goal a few times when I got home!

"That was the best moment of my career, along with the goal for Ajax against FC Barcelona.

"It was fantastic to be able to experience it. It was all so big, it looked like the Champions League final.

"It is in the back of my mind [national team call-up].

"Of course you want to achieve the highest achievable as a football player. Playing for the Dutch is certainly part of that.

"Now that I play in the Premier League, there is a chance that I will be called up. That would be great, but I am not busy with it every day. I have to let my feet speak and if the national coach. Needs me, then I am ready. "
