Aston Villa tee up Fulham's Vigen as contingency for Liverpool, Tottenham target Delph

Aston Villa are reportedly looking at Fulham youngster Lasse Vigen Christensen as a possible replacement for Fabian Delph.

The 25-year old Villa midfielder is being targeted by both Liverpool and Tottenham who are being linked with January moves for the three-time England international.

With that being the case, Villa are looking to Denmark U21 international Vigen Christensen as contingency plan for Delph in case he is lured away from Villa Park.

The 20-year old, who has also attracted interest from QPR, has been in good form for the Cottagers in the Championship but would cost Villa around £5million.
