West Bromwich Albion will let Joleon Lescott leave the club if they can bring in an apt replacement.
According to the Daily Mail, the Baggies will allow the 33-year-old centre-back to depart The Hawthorns provided they can lure Jonny Evans from Manchester United.
Former Manchester City defender Lescott is a target for both Aston Villa and Sunderland and will get a move, most likely to Villa Park, if Tony Pulis can land Evans for around £8million.
Albion have focused their attention on the former teammate of captain Darren Fletcher after failing to land Federico Fazio from Tottenham last week.
