Southport whizkid Drew Lewis is expected to sign for Aston Villa this summer.

Lewis attracted interest from Manchester United earlier this season and was invited for trials at Carrington.

The youngster also tested with Villa at Bodymoor Heath and a Southport source says he is set to move to the Premier League giants this summer.

Lewis shot to prominence in February when it emerged he had been scouted by United turning out for Southport's U21 team.

At the time, the former Tranmere Rovers junior had scored 30 goals in 14 league games.
