Aston Villa's Cole yearns to remember what football was like when it was all just a dream

Joe Cole admits he would love to be able to go back and recall his feelings of football when he was a youngster trying to make it as a professional.

The Aston Villa midfielder, 33, was reflecting on his career when he labeled football as the best vocation you could have.

Cole was not scared to laud his own profession which he indicated has flashed before his eyes and should not be taken for granted.

"Football is the best job in the world," said the former West Ham United, Chelsea and Liverpool star.

"I think sometimes certain footballers think that perhaps it's not cool to be over-enthusiastic or say how much you love it.

"You've just go to remember the kid you once were and remember that this was all a dream."
