Aston Villa prospect Tyreik Wright is happy with his first days on-loan with Walsall.

The Villa loanee arrived at the Banks's Stadium last month on a deal until the end of the season.

Taking his first leap into professional football, the task was made easier due to his relationships with Sam Perry, Wes McDonald and Jack Nolan.

“I've settled in really well, the lads have been very welcoming," Wright said.

“I knew a few of the lads before I came which made it a lot easier so there's more to come from me. I know Sam Perry (from the Villa academy), and when I was on trial at Birmingham I stayed in Wes McDonald's digs as well. I knew Jack Nolan as well, we played international football together and stayed in the same room."
