Relegation favourites Aston Villa have made an offer for Liverpool youngster Jerome Sinclair, as they prepare for life in Championship.

The Daily Mirror claims that Villa are ready to pay a compensation fee to Liverpool for the 19-year-old, whose contract with the Reds runs out in the summer.

Sinclair was a subject of a £3million bid from Watford in January, but a deal failed to materialise between the clubs.

The talented youngster has made two appearances for the Reds this season.
