Aston Villa goalkeeper Robin Olsen admits a return to Malmo FF is in his career plan.

Olsen comes off contract at Villa in 2025.

"I'm eager to get home. It will come," said Olsen.

"It's very possible (when his deal expires)."

Olsen is also happy hearing MFF have named Henrik Rydström as new coach: "It's awesome. It was the best thing that could happen now. I haven't seen much of Kalmar but from what I've seen and heard about him he is just the right man for the job.

"A fantastic step for Malmö to find that coach and then build on it."
