Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez has broken the unbeaten Argentina record of 'Mono' Burgos.

With the 1-0 win against Paraguay on Thursday, followed by those against Bolivia, Ecuador, Indonesia, Australia, Curacao and Panama, the Argentina goalkeeper established the new unbeaten record for the Albiceleste goal.

He surpasses the 606 minutes of former Atlético de Madrid coach Burgos.

The Albiceleste has not conceded a goal since the World Cup final.
