Watford sporting director Luke Dowling is in the sights of Aston Villa.
Watford chief Dowling, 37, a former scout for Crystal Palace, worked as head of recruitment at Portsmouth, Blackburn Rovers and Leeds United.
The Daily Mail says Dowling has attracted interest from Tottenham and is now in the sights of Villa.
Villa are considering Dowling as they plan a restructure of the club.
