Aston Villa are eyeing Hull City striker Dame N'Doye.
The Sunday Mirror says Villa are considering a move for N'Doye as a replacement for Christian Benteke.
Tim Sherwood will have limited funds to spend on his Villa squad in the close season and views as N'Doye a shrewd buy if Benteke departs.
N'Doye earned praise from Steve Bruce for the impact that he made at the Humberside club with five goals in 15 outings.
Villa, though, could face competition from Sunderland and Newcastle who are also monitoring the situation.
