Aston Villa have expressed interest in AC Milan goalkeeper Pepe Reina.
The Daily Mail says Villa have held talks with AC Milan over possible deals for Krzysztof Piatek and Reina.
Manager Dean Smith secured the loan signing of Danny Drinkwater on a six month deal from Chelsea on Tuesday but desperately needs a goalkeeper and striker after losing Wesley Moraes and Tom Heaton through injury.
Reina, the former Liverpool keeper, is now 37 and has been used sparingly by Milan. He is eager to return to the Premier League and believes he can still perform at the top level.
Piatek is surplus to requirements following the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and has been the subject of interest from Newcastle United.
