Aston Villa defender Shane Lowry has joined Plymouth Argyle on a three-month loan. The 20-year-old defender will link up with Paul Sturrock's Pilgrims as they look to move up the Championship.
The Home Park outfit currently find themselves at the foot of the table but the Australian centre-half should offer some added steel in the backline.
